It must be in harmony with the evolving requirements for public transport, fostering reliable connections between Corsica, main regional cities and European capitals.
Improving passengers’ wellbeing and security, making connections between the island, and national and international networks easier and more diversified. These are the main goals and ambitions of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Corsica.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Corsica is responsible for managing Calvi airport. The regional Corsican government is the owner and licenser of the airport platform.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Corsica has four main objectives:
Exploitation : Implementing all necessary means to guarantee passenger security and safety (airport, maneuvering area, car parks, information desk, shops & services, check-in counters, passenger checkpoints and checked luggage.)
Investment : Defining with public local authorities and partners, a medium term investment policy and to supervise its implementation.
Promotion : Consolidating and participating in the expansion of the network of scheduled flights and charter flights, which will contribute to the development of regional tourism.
Coordination : Exercising the airport’s expertise in partnership with all regional institutional and professional partners involved in air transportation. The State, however, maintains its responsibilities as far as security and air traffic are concerned…
